The Clinical Nurse Specialist practices as an expert in the application of the nursing process and theory within radiation oncology. In this position, the CNS would partner with the Radiation Oncology Director of Nursing to work across five practice locations in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, developing standards of practice and educational opportunities, and serving as the clinical expert in all areas of patient care within the department. The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to advance patient care directly in the role of expert clinical practitioner and indirectly in the roles of educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, collaborator, clinical leader, role model, and patient advocate. CNS position requires three years of full time experience in the field of oncology. Prior experience specifically within radiation oncology is preferred but not required.

CNS is required.
Prior clinical leadership experienced and cardiac clinical experience is strongly preferred.

The Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, located at 309 Belmont Street in Worcester, MA is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. The ideal candidate will have a current and valid certification by a national professional accredited body and is authorized by the Mass Board of Registration to practice in this specialty.

The Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health provides direct patient care including psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients on assigned units, e.g. forensic units and continuing care units, under the supervision of the collaborating psychiatrist. Develops and leads patient psycho educational groups. Provides education and consultation to unit nursing staff regarding current evidence-based practices in psychiatric nursing, person-centered care, and recovery.

Salary Range: $78,729.30 to $131,374.88
